Hello Moms,

Just a friendly reminder that we have our second MOPS meeting coming up this Wednesday, August 27th from 9-11am in B-200.  MOPPETS childcare check-in opens up at 8:45am. 

Breakfast
I hope you enjoyed our open seating for breakfast.  We will continue doing that during the semester - so please feel free to sit with moms you connected with in prior years or maybe look for some leadership members or Mentor Moms - we would love the chance to sit with you and get to know you better!  (We can be identified by our white or khaki burlap rose corsages). 

Hot Topic Table
One more thing about our breakfast seating.  Each meeting during breakfast we will have one designated table that will allow you to connect deeper with other like moms in our group.  This week's "Hot Topic" of conversation will be "Moms of New Kindergartners".  Whether you sent off your first child to kindergarten recently or your last little one this year - this table is for you this week!

Please know that you will not be forced to sit at this table,  you may continue to sit anywhere, although, I think you will find encouragement from other moms experiencing similar situations as you....it's all about community.  :-(

Speaker:
As we shared last meeting, our theme for this year is "Be You Bravely"; Raj Johnson, a local police officer and member of Chandler Christian Church will be giving us tips and advice on how we can keep ourselves and our families safe.  He will also be open to questions at the end, so please come with questions for him.
